Charles Burrell Centre will be celebrating its 10th birthday in 2025

We’ve been operating for ten years, and fully intend to be here for the next ten. Like all organisations, Charles Burrell Centre has experienced increased costs over the past few years. Gas, electric, insurance and staff costs have all increased significantly.Our building is of course old and large and increasingly expensive to maintain. Parts of CBC were opened in 1963 and as such we routinely have issues with water ingress, flooding and boiler problems and face substantial maintenance costs. Through the hard work and dedication of the staff team, volunteers and board members we have been able to make the building sustainable for 10 years. An incredible achievement and beyond many people’s wildest expectations.

Charles Burrell Centre (CBC) is a thriving community and business centre on the Barnham Cross estate in Thetford. 50+ organisations are based here, offering a range of quality services under one roof. We have rooms available to hire on an hourly, sessional basis, starting at £16 per hour.

The main hall is priced at £17 per hour during the day. The main hall is £25 per hour after 5pm. The Gymnasium is £16 per hour.

We have rooms available to rent on a long-term basis, starting at £125 per month, some rooms are exempt from business rates. (Conditions may apply).
