I am a father to three boys and now have seven grandchildren. I have lived in Thetford since 1975 and have always worked in the local area and also been involved as a volunteer in a number of community groups over the years. Prior to retiring from work in 2014 I was a partner in a computer consultancy company for 14 years. I am a Trustee of Thetford Community Association – a local charity providing activities for children and young people as well as providing a floodlit Ballpark for the community. I am also their Treasurer and have been for a number of years. I have recently retired as Treasurer for a local church, a position that I had held for the last 15 years.  I am a member of the Charles Burrell Centre Board and Chair of the Building Maintenance sub-committee. I also volunteer one day a week at the Centre using my IT skills to develop and maintain the computers and network at CBC.

Kim Ritchie  -  Tenant Representative

I was a school teacher for 5 years where I was lead teacher for Norfolk County Council and was responsible for training and mentoring newly qualified teachers within the school. During this time I started a dance club on a Saturday morning. I now run this Dance School which is open 6 days a week and has 5 members of staff. I am passionate about the success of Thetford and the Charles Burrell Centre. The centre has given so many people opportunities that they would never had experienced if the CBC had not been open. In terms of qualifications I have a BSc in Psychology and Criminology plus a PGCE primary education with early year specialism. I also have various dance teaching and safe practise qualifications.
