I am a father to three boys and now have seven grandchildren. I have lived in Thetford since 1975 and have always worked in the local area and also been involved as a volunteer in a number of community groups over the years. Prior to retiring from work in 2014 I was a partner in a computer consultancy company for 14 years. I am a Trustee of Thetford Community Association – a local charity providing activities for children and young people as well as providing a floodlit Ballpark for the community. I am also their Treasurer and have been for a number of years. I have recently retired as Treasurer for a local church, a position that I had held for the last 15 years.  I am a member of the Charles Burrell Centre Board and Chair of the Building Maintenance sub-committee. I also volunteer one day a week at the Centre using my IT skills to develop and maintain the computers and network at CBC.

Andrea Jarrold - Co-opted Member

Kirsty Turner - Hirers Representative

There was a vacancy on the board for a hirer member so I applied to give them a voice. I have been a part of Thetford Bulldogs FC since 2003.
I was stand-in Club Secretary for a week in 2007, but was voted in at our next meeting and have done it ever since. I do it for our players now and in the future. I am also a manager and player for the Club and love it. As a club we helped to save our old school building giving us the centre, which is a wonderful place to be a part of. If you want me to ask any questions at our board meetings on your behalf please email me: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. I love working for our community.
